What we Believe
-
We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments only, is verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit, is the inerrant in the original manuscript, and is the infallible and authoritative Word of God.
-
We believe that there is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, just, loving and truthful. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self-existent. He is one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
-
We believe that Satan, the god of this world, fell and tempted Adam, who was created in the image of God. Because of Adam's sin, we can wilfully reject the Lordship and glory of God for which we were intended. Because of this, sickness, death and judgment entered the world, and now creation experiences the effects of consequences of sin. Because of these consequences, all men have imputed guilt, are totally depraved, and need to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit through salvation.
-
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin, Mary. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is God's Anointed One, empowered by the Holy Spirit to inaugurate God's Kingdom on earth. He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected and ascended into Heaven, where He is presently exalted and sits in the presence of God at the Father's right hand. He is "fully God" and "fully man." We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ loves those for whom He died.
-
We believe that we are saved by God's grace, through faith in the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone. There is no other way to God than through the Lord Jesus Christ, His Son. We believe anyone can be restored to fellowship with God through repenting, believing and receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord. We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, justifies, and adopts us as we enter the Kingdom of God as His sons and daughters.
-
We believe that the true church, the body of the Lord Jesus Christ, consists only of those who are born again, who have received the gift of the Holy Spirit at the time of their regeneration. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live holy and to minister supernaturally. We believe that for those who choose Him, the Holy Spirit now makes intercession for them in Heaven according to Romans 8:26.
-
We believe He gave His church the ordinances of Baptism and Communion. We believe the church exists to carry on the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ and to further advance His kingdom by undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the good news of God's love, discipling the nations, baptizing and teaching them to love and obey God.
-
We believe in the promise of the Father! That all believers are entitled to, and should ardently expect and earnestly seek, the promise of the Father, which is the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-5; Acts 2:38). With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry (Acts 1:8; I Corinthians12:1-31). This wonderful experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth. (Acts 2:38; 10:44-46; 11:14-16)

We believe that marriage is sacred and is a covenant made with a Holy God. We define "marriage" as the exclusive covenantal union of one man and one woman and is a lifetime commitment. We believe that sexual relations are exercised solely within marriage. Therefore, sexual activities outside of marriage, including, but not limited to, premarital sex, adultery, homosexuality and pedophilia are inconsistent with the teaching of the Bible and the church. Further, lascivious conduct, transgender behavior, and the creation, distribution or viewing of pornography are incompatible with the biblical witness of a true believer.
-
We believe there is no middle ground in the plan of salvation that God has laid out for us. We believe there are only two directions in this Kingdom of God: you are either in the process of Perishing or you are Saved, according to 1 Corinthians 1:18. We believe there will be a resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting death.
-
We believe in the ever increasing government of God and in the Blessed Hope, which is the glorious visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ for His overcoming Bride - His true church.
