City Prayer Walk

We pray-walk our streets, and God moves!

"So is the prayer meeting a grace-ometer, and from it we may

judge the amount of divine working among a people.

If God be near a church, it must pray.

And if He be not there, one of the first tokens

of His absence will be a slothfulness in prayer!”

Charles Haddon Spurgeon

These are just some of the results since we started praying, fasting and repenting over our community. The results have been amazing.  Just to list a few:-   (Please note that our city prayer-walk schedule may be seasonal)

  • Many of Springville, California's biggest long-time drug dealers have surrendered their lives and hearts to God and faithfully attend a local church and Ignite each week.

  • A local Springville, California gang, FBC (Fully Baked Crew) has been disbanded by local law enforcement.

  • A “Wanted Felon” who could not be apprehended by Fresno Police Dept. was apprehended by Springville’s law enforcement officers.

  • Officers with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Dept. cleared more than 106,000 marijuana plants worth an estimated $319 million over the week of July 10th - 16th,  2012.  Most of the gardens were in the hills above Porterville. (The Springville Area) - (Quote from the Porterville Recorder, Monday, July 16th, 2012) There continues to be such a cleansing in our community of drugs that we can't list everything that has happened since 2012.

  • Every Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the Springville Community Food Pantry we have our "FREE" bread ministry on the Sequoia Dawn Campus.  We give out hundreds of loaves each week of "FRESH" from the bakery breads, English muffins, bagels, etc. to the community of Springville, California.

  • Since 2012, we have had a faithful group of intercessors meet every Thursday morning at 9:30. It's hard to believe that it is already 2017 and they are still faithfully praying for our homes, families, school, city and nation.

  • We have a men's discipleship group that meets weekly and is led by Pastors Greg Stoffel and Scott Trueblood.

  • A deliverance and discipleship ministry has been started and is led by Nancy Bowser and Connie Stoffel. The teams are set in place and deliverance and discipleship are happening!

  • We have an amazing ministry that has partnered with Ignite Revival Ministries that we are so excited about. Bent Bow Outdoor Productions is led by Pastor Ronald Crouch and Rodney York who are both skilled bow hunters. They endeavor to share their love for Jesus through their adventures, with bows in hand, in their outdoor videos. They will be striving to produce some of the best quality bow hunting films available with the emphasis on our Lord and His beautiful creation that was meant for us to enjoy. These films are free to watch or download or as we like to say, “Paid in Full” to get them in as many hands as possible. They also have links that will enable you to get prayer, fellowship, guidance and stories of encouragement, all with a click of a button. Please LIKE their Facebook page at: Bent Bow Outdoor Productions.

  • GIRLS GONE GODLY - G3 is a Non-Denominational Christian Girls Online Club in Springville, California that seeks to equip girls from 6th - 8th grade to live radically faithful lives for Christ. They are encouraged through scripture and real life testimonies that will enable them to make choices that will lead them to powerful living through Christ. You can LIKE their Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/G3Godsgirls

  • IGNITED INTERCESSORY PRAYER: We have a faithful group of believers from various churches that meet for intercessory prayer. Note that participation in this group is by pastoral invitation only. We do offer other valuable prayer meeting opportunities.

  • Our community Pastors, from various denominations, for the first time ever in Springville, now meet monthly for fellowship and best of all, for prayer. This finally happened in November of 2013 after over a year of fasting and praying for our churches and unity!  It's now 2017 and each month our pastors continue to meet monthly at a different pastor's church. This is encouraging, and all of their churches have become a place of prayer for the pastors.

  • In 2012 we called Springville, California to a "Monthly Community Day of Fasting and Prayer!"  This happens the first Tuesday of each month. Flyers are passed out to the congregations the Sunday prior, and we fast and pray as a community. Ask a pastor for our Springville Community Fasting and Prayer Flyer.

  • On Sunday April, 20th, 2014 we had our first ever Community Easter Sunrise Service where six out of the seven churches in our community participated. We have continued this now for 3 years and we have had approximately 200+ residents of our community join us in this amazing service each year.

  • In June of 2015, Pastor Greg Stoffel was asked to take over Pleasant Valley Chapel, a precious church that was getting ready to have to close its doors.  A year and half later it was bursting at the seams.  We knew we were going to have to make some serious moves. As of December 2016, after much prayer and fasting, we combined both the growth from Pleasant Valley Chapel and our Ignite Revival Ministries and we have rented the Springville School Auditorium. God put a new church name on our hearts over 4 years ago, and we have finally been given the go ahead from the Holy Spirit to plant our first church. We opened the doors of the first Ignite Revival Ministries church plant on December 4th, 2016. The name given to us by the Lord in 2013 was Sequoia Worship Center.  We are now praying about a building project. You can listen in to or watch the videos of the Sequoia Worship Center services on this website, or LIKE our Facebook Page www.facebook.com/sequoiaworshipcenter.

  • In December of 2016, after much prayer and fasting, Pastor Greg is now ministering up at our local men's prison on Friday evenings. We look forward to what God is going to do in the lives of these men this coming year.

  • THERE IS NO WAY WE CAN KEEP UP WITH WHAT GOD HAS DONE IN THIS LITTLE COMMUNITY. WE CAN NO LONGER KEEP TRACK, AND THAT IS A WONDERFUL THING!

  • Make sure you contact us! We would love to have our intercessors PRAY for you, and we'd love to hear your testimonies.

It's now 2021, and God has grown us up in amazing ways. We have seen and continue to see salvations, deliverances, miracles of healing, marriages restored and much repentance in the heart of our local Christians.  We still have a long, long way to go, and God is not finished with us yet.  As the days grow darker we see the need to continue with hearts that are repentant, praise filled, and passionate towards the God who created us.  Join us and be a part of what Jesus is doing in our midst!
