International Network of Hearts: Brings hope, safety and empowerment to children recovering from sex trafficking:

International Network of Hearts exists to bring communities and governments together to help rescue women and children from human trafficking and sexual violence. Our leadership includes a dynamic team with more than 15 years of experience managing human trafficking cases in the U.S. and in Mexico. Our membership consists of moms and dads, students, professionals, governmental and non-governmental organizations, law enforcement, and academic institutions who collectively form an international network of hearts committed to bringing hope, safety and empowerment to survivors of human trafficking and sexual violence.

Founder and President:

Founder and President of International Network Of Hearts (INH)based in San Diego, Ca. and Red Binational De Corazones (RBC) based in Tijuana, Mexico.

 

Alma has more than 20 years of experience assisting victims of human trafficking and advocating for their rights in the border region. 

 

INH & RBC are nongovernmental organization’s that support survivors of human trafficking.

In addition, both INH & RBC provide training and education at an interdisciplinary and binational level to authorities, civic groups, church organizations and public/private schools.

Alma, is also the founder of La Casa Del Jardin, the only group homes in Baja California designed for children (one boys home & one home for girls) recovering from human trafficking.

For more than a decade, Alma worked as an investigative officer for the Child Protection Unit with the Mexican Consulate General based in San Diego, Ca.  She serves as an academic honorary member of the National Commission of the Ministry of Interior to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Human Trafficking in the Country of Mexico.
